Granite Mountains Photograph Collection

This collection consists of slide photographs from the Jack and Marilyn Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center (SGM). Most slides are undated and uncredited, but significant portions are attributed to Jim Andre, Richard Norris, D. Lee, Teresa Norris, B. Carlson, J. W. Tremor, and Jack Levy. Subjects include landscapes and scenery, other NRS reserves, Sacramento Mountains reserve, other regional photos, Staples family, facilities and equipment, photos of lectures, technical photos, flora and fauna, archeology and historical resources, construction, research, people, and events. Some binders include related documents and ephemera, such as correspondence with Kenneth Norris and Wilbur Mayhew about research.
