San Bernardino Breeding Bird Atlas Program Records

Abstract

This collection consists of records from the Breeding Bird Atlas Program, a continent-wide project administered by the US Geological Survey and run by volunteers. Motte Rimrock Reserve director Barbara Carlson was the project manager for San Bernardino County and created these files. This collection includes: (1) bird survey charts (field cards) and species checklists (2) notes and drafts for the Atlas Program’s newsletters, (3) correspondence with volunteers, (4) Barbara Carlson’s notes on project activities, (5) related clippings, (6) assorted materials for volunteers, (7) a floppy disk of bird data, (8) information on funding and fundraising.
