Abstract

This collection encompasses an eclectic set of records pertaining to all the UCSD NRS sites that has been placed at the Kendall-Frost Mission Bay Marsh Reserve for storage. Contents include: (1) sign in sheets for the Knoll biodiversity trail at Scripps Coastal Reserve, from 1999-2003, (2) permits for research use of all the UCSD reserves, (3) financial documents for the campus office, (4) UCSD NRS academic coordinator Isabelle Kay’s notes from manager’s meetings and NRS advisory committee meetings, from 1987-93), (5) researcher files, (6) general administrative documents, from 1984-99), (7) sign in sheets for Kendall-Frost, from 1995-97), (8) reference materials on Scripps and ecological restoration in general, (9) NRS correspondence, from 1989-90), (10) files on potential reserve acquisitions and fundraising, (11) permits for research use at Dawson Los Monos Canyon Reserve in 1996, (12) former UCSD NRS director Carl Hubb's files, including files on the early development of the NRS in general, from 1963-82), and (13) Kay's files on the Carmel Mountains Conservancy.
