UC Los Angeles Herbarium
Information
The UCLA Herbarium features the Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden named for its long-time former director and one of the most important figures in the early history of the NRS. The site houses several collections of note including Mathias' papers and photograph collections.
UCLA is the home campus for two NRS reserves, Stunt Ranch Santa Monica Mountains Reserve (SRR) and White Mountain Research Center (WMRC).
