UC Riverside NRS Campus Office

The UC Riverside (UCR) campus NRS office administers the Box Springs Reserve (BSR), Boyd Deep Canyon Desert Research Center (BDC), Emerson Oaks Reserve (EOR), Motte Rimrock Reserve (MRR), James San Jacinto Mountains Reserve (JSJ), and Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center (SGM). Previously it administered Etiwanda Wash Reserve, which has since been sold out of the NRS system. Researchers inquiring into UCR or any of its reserves should be aware that UCR and especially SJS have extensive archival collections not inventoried by the NRS Archives Project website because they have been transferred to the UCR Special Collections.
