Bodega Marine Reserve Director's Collection

This collection contains administrative files for the Bodega Marine Reserve (BMR). It covers BMR's operations, planning, and relationships with the Bodega Marine Laboratory (BML) and various governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Specific topics include: (1) administrative documents describing the organizational structure of the BML and BMR, travel grants, meeting minutes, and long-term planning from 2001-Present, (2) legal documents including permits, leases, and environmental impact reports, California Coastal Commission correspondence, cooperative agreements with California State Parks, documents pertaining to BML and BMR's request for exemption from the California Ocean Plan, and cooperative agreements between BMR and BML, (3) annual reports from 1999-2012, (4) clippings files and promotional materials documenting BMR public relations, (5) management and operations documents including species lists, equipment and facilities information, and policy documents (6) NRS documents and correspondence, from 1986-88, including information on the McLaughlin Reserve, (7) documents related to funding and development, (8) Peter Connor's files from his time with the UC Davis NRS from 1996-2008, (8) aerial photographs from 1993-2009 and landscape photographs fro 1972-74).
