UC Santa Cruz Large Format Documents Collection

Abstract

This collection consists of large format documents related to UC Santa Cruz and the NRS sites under its administration, including maps, architectural drawings, aerial photographs, illustrations, project boards, and other items. Much of this collection includes published US Geological Survey materials, but other items include: (1) aerial photographs Big Basin and Davenport, (2) large aerial photographs of the Santa Cruz campus, (3) hand-drawn maps of the UCSC Campus Natural Reserve boundaries, (4) artwork for brochures, (5) maps of Younger Lagoon Reserve with hand-drawn additions, (6) maps related to the Santa Cruz Mountains Bioregional Project, including areas slated for development and population, (7) student presentation posters related to projects on the UCSC NRS reserves and Campus Natural Reserve, (8) maps of the Fort Ord Natural Reserve, and (9) maps from the 1979 Granite Mountains Resource Survey.
