Stunt Ranch Santa Monica Mountains Reserve

Information

Stunt Ranch Santa Monica Mountains Reserve (SRR) is located in Los Angeles County in the Santa Monica Mountains north of Malibu. The site was the homestead of the Stunt family from the late 19th century until the death of Ethel Stunt in 1971, after which it became a research and conservation site for several organizations and institutions. Much of the property burned in 1993, then in 1995 it joined the NRS as UCLA's first reserve. Archival materials on site pertain to each of these phases of SRR's history.
