Hastings Large Format Document Collection

This collection consists of maps and other large format documents pertaining to the Frances Simes Hastings Natural History Reservation, including: (1) architectural drawings from 1968-2003, (2) aerial Photos from 1949-95, (3) vegetation from 1941 and topographic maps from 1969, (4) wood rat data, from 1940-42, with maps, monitoring charts, and hand-drawn statistical graphs, (5) art including posters, drawings, and photographs, (6) data on local fires, including three hand-drawn maps, created by James Griffin, of fires for the periods 1941-60, 1931-40, and 1911-77, (7) property maps including notes about sections of the reserve, (8) photographs taken by the Hastings family, including family, landscape, other photos taken on the reserve, from the 1930s-70s.
