Northern California Coast Range Preserve Collection

Abstract

This collection includes consists of records from youth camp activities at the Northern California Coast Range Preserve operated by The Nature Conservancy (TNC), as well as data collected at the Preserve by anonymous researchers, most likely under the auspices of TNC. Materials pertain specifically to “Camp Unify,” a set of camping trips for underprivileged youth held at Camp Branscomb on the preserve in 1968 and 1970. The data is ecological in nature, and relates to the flora and fauna of the Preserve during the late 1970s and early 1980s. It includes ecological plot data from 1977-81 on trees (most likely collected by Charles Patterson), species surveys from 1984-86, records of bird nesting sites from 1985, data on traps, and aquatic data from 1985.
