Angelo Coast Range Reserve

Information

The Angelo Coast Range Reserve is located in Mendocino County near Branscomb, CA. The reserve has materials related to three phases of its history: the Angelo family homestead (1910-1959), the Northern California Coast Range Preserve (NCCRP) operated by The Nature Conservancy (TNC) (1959-1989), and the Angelo Coast Range Reserve operated by the NRS (1989-Present). Historical materials pertain to the administration and operation of the site; land use and natural history; TNC and NRS research and programs; relationships between the reserve, the Angelo family, and various organizations and government agencies; and the reserve's involvement in the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Program (MAB). The site also houses maps, biological specimens, grey literature, and original data sets.
