Kendall-Frost Mission Bay Marsh Reserve

Kendall-Frost Mission Bay Marsh Reserve (KFMB) is located in the city of San Diego on the north shore of Mission Bay. It is the only remaining parcel of marshland that once characterized the bay area. KFMB is administered out of the UCSD NRS Campus office with the help of a group of interested neighbors called the Friends of Mission Bay Marsh. Some UCSD NRS document collections are housed at KFMB for storage—it does not have an independent archival collection as such—and it is well worth the researcher's trip to this picturesque bastion of original San Diego.
